|Pictured below are the brothers and sisters of John W. McLaurin Sr. This group of individuals has been the backbone of the growth of this family in the New York area for many years. Today only three members of this photo are still with us, (Bambi, Wilbur and Sonny Boy), although all of the departed have been missed unmeasurably, their contributions to the growth of this family will live on for many generations to come.

|John W. McLaurin Sr. migrated from Savannah, Georgia to New York in the late 1920's. Moses soon followed, and then Wilbur and Jay., followed by Grace, and then Bambi, and finally Carrie. Little Dorie and Sonny Boy were born in New York .|
